The outstanding Samsung Jet provides functions for all

The Samsung Jet is a phone which provides a variety of functions that all perform useful tasks. The phone is a slim line phone which has a display screen that takes up the majority of the front face of the phone. It provides a colourful interface and is user friendly.

Samsung Jet
incorporates a 3.1 inch AMOLED resistive touch screen which displays up to 16 million colours and their variations at size of 480 x 800. The screen is large and provides ample opportunity to view images in stark clarity and true colour representation. The phone uses the TouchWiz version 2 user interface which is responsive and easy to use. An accelerometer sensor provides the means to alter the aspect of images as well as a proximity sensor to auto shut off the phone to conserve power.

The HSDPA and Wi-Fi connections provide internet access either through its own connection or via available hot spots. The Blue tooth and microUSB elements provide the means of sharing files or synchronising with a PC. Satellite navigation is provided by the GPS with A-GPs support feature which also provides route 66 software.

A 5 mega pixel camera which works at a resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels is built in to the phone. Included features to aid photo taking include auto focus and an LED flash. Geo-tagging offers the means to use location for referencing. A secondary camera offers the ability to make video calls. Video recording and playback is included with D1 or 720 x 480 resolution and at 30 frames per second.

Entertainment is provided by the MP3 player which plays all major audio files and a stereo FM radio. This allows the user to listen to downloaded music or radio broadcasts from local and national radio stations.

Samsung S8000 Jet
offers a veritable multitude of functionality. Its stylish looks and its feature packed interior are an excellent combination. The phone is small enough to be palm sized but packs a great deal of performance into a small handset.
